CAMP CAMP CAMP CAMP

I just came back from orientation for overnight camp. It was good, but repetitive and tiring. Let me beak it down for you, we went to the place on Wednesday to board our stuff. We had to be there by 7:45 but the problem was that the bus wasn't there yet. We had to wait. Then when it did come, we did not leave until 10 because some people had to be cleared of their drug test. Some people did not pass theirs and others just did not take it. So we left. A very long ass drive to the camp. When we got there, it was very beautiful. It is by a ocean or some bay. It is located in the COUNTRY! The country y'all. We went through a long process of being talked to food and the same thing the next day. I felt it was a waste of time and repetitive. I hate that so much. We had to do CPR today. It was long and boring, but the good thing was that we got certified! It lasts for a good 2 years. It was nice to know and learn about it. I can't wait til next week. We will work with kids! It will be fun! I was put with this girl as the other counselor. We will be working with 9-11 year olds. Also, we got our shirts, but only 1 since when they ordered them, the order was messed up. Other than that, its all good. Peace out.

Wait, one more thing. I forgot to talk about the most important part. The people. The girl I was with was her second year working there and we have the same birthday! Woot. So far, we are a little different, but overall the same traits. She is very nice and more outgoing than I am, but its ok. Not in a rush to bloom. I will someday. The other people there are okay overall. I don't think I will meet someone there that I will have a connection with. We will see as time goes by since more new people are coming. Some people are just not my type, others talk too much, make fun of each other and some are immature or just ghetto. Either way, they are ok people. Some are just awesome, but not to the point where I may have a connection with that person. I have a hard time finding someone that can really please me. I am not picky but just very selective of who I hang with.
